Hakim Ziyech donates his $278,000 World Cup earnings to the poor

Moroccan Player, Hakim Ziyech will give his $278,000 World Cup earnings to poor people in his country. He donated £185,000 to cancer patients in Morocco in 2019.

According a report by SPORTbible, Hakim Ziyech gives his earnings from playing for Morocco to poor families and staff. He donated to amateur clubs & hospitals.

 

In a similar report by Islam Channel, Morocco star Hakim Ziyech has never taken a single dollar while playing for his country since 2015. He donates it all to the poor families in his native Morocco.

Confirming the reports, the Moroccan player said, “Of course I will donate all my World Cup earnings to poor people in need of it. I didn't choose to play for Morocco for money I made that choice from my heart.”

Hakim Ziyech came out of international retirement for the 2022 World Cup, leading Morocco to beat Belgium, Spain and Portugal.
