Fleet Team, Mail Room Clerks 

 

Job Objective(s)

 

  • Repair/routine maintenance of the Bank’s Fleet.
  • Allocation and re-allocation of vehicles to branches and departments.
  • Renewal of vehicle licenses, hackney permit, roadworthiness etc.
  • Vehicle inspection and monitoring.
  • Funding of the Total Fuel cards
  • Funding of the fleet management cards
  • Supervising the Bank’s drivers

 

Specific Roles and Responsibilities

FINANCIAL

Ensure all budgeted items are not exceeded.

PROCESS 

  • Development, Management and Administration of transport programs and systems 
  • Management of Drivers   
  • Investigation and reporting of all/attempted security breaches in conjunction with Internal Control.
  • Provision of professional guidelines and make input into the administration and acquisition of vehicles and motorbikes.
  • Liaison with vendors, Insurance Company and other relevant authority e.t.c.

CUSTOMER 

  • All Staff, Branches and Depts., Service Workshops Vendors

TEAM    

  • Motivate, share ideas and provide on-the-job training for the entire Ecobank Business Services Staff
  • Manage and supervise Transport functions for the Bank.

Job Requirements 

Education

  • A Good University degree with a minimum of 2:2 
  • Possession of a professional certificate in transport management will be considered an advantage

Work Experience 

 

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in transport/fleet management of a commercial Bank and/or other corporate organization.
