The N-Power officials have just released a statement,
via the NASIMS platforms, regarding the payment of backlog stipends to all Batch
C Beneficiaries (Streams 1 and 2).
The statement warns that applicants are not eligible
for payment unless they have been chosen as beneficiaries of the N-Power
programme . Applicants are therefore advised to visit the NASIMS self-service portal to check their N-Power status.
Intending N-Power beneficiaries have also been
cautioned by NASIMS that the programmme is not actively hiring. Prospective
applicants are urged to reject any promotion or claims of N-Power 2023 registration,
describing such information as fake. Additionally, NASIMS advises avoiding
paying any application fees for N-Power, stressing that the program is totally
free.
For some of the beneficiaries who had previously
authenticated their account details, NASIMS has also announced the restart of
backlog payments. Beneficiaries are urged to check their dashboard periodically
for any updates on the payment of backlog stipends.
In addition, N-Power batch C1 beneficiaries who are
requesting for payment of December
stipend are encouraged to constantly check their NASIMS dashboards for updates.
In the event that their duration for the programmme is extended, they might be
compensated.
The N-Power initiative, a crucial element of
Nigeria’s social investment strategy, intends to give young Nigerians employment
and skill development. However, timely stipend delivery is essential for the
program’s viability and the welfare of its beneficiaries.
To this aim, N-Power beneficiaries have recently
received an update from the National Social Investment Management System
(NASIMS) on the payment of backlog stipends and other crucial N-Power-related
issues.
