Job Position: Human Resources Executive

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated HR Executive to join our dynamic team at Salad Africa.
  • As an HR Executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of our HR functions.
  • You will be responsible for managing various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and HR administration.


  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting top talent that aligns with the company's values and objectives.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and create effective recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct employee onboarding activities to ensure a seamless transition for new hires into the company culture and environment.
  • Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development plans.
  • Proactively address employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive work environment and resolution of any conflicts or issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
  • Coordinate and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Support HR-related projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, diversity and inclusion efforts, and talent development programs.
  • Stay updated on HR best practices, industry trends, and legal requirements to ensure compliance and implement effective HR policies and procedures.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably within the fintech or technology industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment processes and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with employees at all levels.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Professional certifications in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR) are desirable.
