Description
- We are looking for an
experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our team.
- Experience working in the oil
and gas industry and strong leadership skills are expected.
- This candidate will be focused
and have strong communication skills.
- The ideal candidate will lead
initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new
business for the company.
- They should be able to think
critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a
particular strategy.
Duties
& Responsibilities
- Identify partnership
opportunities
- Develop new relationships in an
effort to grow the business and help the company expand while maintaining
existing business
- Identify prospects and develop
sales strategies to penetrate and get new accounts, including
presentations and tenders.
- Conduct research to identify
new business opportunities- markets and customer needs
- Generate leads and cold call
prospective clients
- Assist in the preparation of
bids/ proposals.
- Lead the formulation,
execution, and monitoring of the company's business development, market
penetration strategies, and plans for enhancing business growth.
- Arrange business development
meetings with prospective clients
- Develop a growth strategy
focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with other business
units; finance team, warehousing, and logistics, as needed
- Attend seminars, conferences,
and events where appropriate
- Develop promotional strategy
and activities
Qualifications
& Competencies
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
experience
- 5-6 years of prior
industry-related business development experience
- Proven knowledge and execution
of successful development strategies
- Robust and high-level contacts
in the IOCs and E&P companies
- Strong communication and
interpersonal skills
- A good understanding of the oil
and gas business environments and current trends
- Excellent relationship
management skills.
