Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our team.
  • Experience working in the oil and gas industry and strong leadership skills are expected.
  • This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills.
  • The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company.
  • They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify partnership opportunities
  • Develop new relationships in an effort to grow the business and help the company expand while maintaining existing business
  • Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to penetrate and get new accounts, including presentations and tenders.
  • Conduct research to identify new business opportunities- markets and customer needs
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective clients
  • Assist in the preparation of bids/ proposals.
  • Lead the formulation, execution, and monitoring of the company's business development, market penetration strategies, and plans for enhancing business growth.
  • Arrange business development meetings with prospective clients
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with other business units; finance team, warehousing, and logistics, as needed
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate
  • Develop promotional strategy and activities

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-6 years of prior industry-related business development experience
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Robust and high-level contacts in the IOCs and E&P companies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good understanding of the oil and gas business environments and current trends
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
