David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences Uburu commencement of academic activities for the 2023/2024 session

Following the admissions into the David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences Uburu, for the 2023/2024 academic session, successful candidates are officially notified that the University will commence academic activities for the 2023/2024 session on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

In view of the above, all admitted candidates are required to check into their hostels latest Sunday, January 14, 2023.

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION OF CANDIDATES

Candidates are required to present the following at the faculties for registration:

1. Evidence of payment of acceptance fee of N100,000.00 (procedure for all payments available on the university website www.dufuhs.edu.ng.

2. A copy of the DUFUHS admission letter

3. Jamb original result slip

4. Evidence of change of institution/course to DUFUHS on JAMB portal

5. SSCE/O’ Level result(s)

6. Official Letter of consent for sponsorship by either the parent or sponsor addressed to

the Registrar of the University

7. Three (3) letters of undertaking for good conduct, one of which must be from the parent and the other two (2) from a senior public/civil servant and a clergy.

8. Age declaration/certificate

9. Local Government Letter of Identification

CHECKLIST FOR REGISTRATION INTO THE HALL OF RESIDENCE (HOSTEL)

1. Evidence of payment of appropriate school fee

2. One (1) laptop and a flash drive.

3. Two (2) bedspread and pillowcase each

4. One (1) electric kettle (not compulsory)

5. A dozen of plastic (cloth) hanger

6. A mosquito net

7. Two (2) sizable plastic buckets for bath/wash

8. One (1) pack of tissue paper

9. Two (2) mopping sticks

10. Two (2) 500mg clean detergent

11. Two (2) 725ml harpic active fresh

12.Two (2) cans of odourless (mortein) insecticide.

13. Students are to make provision for N20,000.00 only for two University branded laboratory coats which will be issued to them by the University.

NOTE: It is compulsory for candidates to pay school fees in full and obtain receipts online before arrival on campus.

Payment of fees and provision of items on the checklist for registration into the halls of residence (hostel) are applicable to both fresh and returning students.
