Arsenal play their final Champions League group fixture this
evening with a clash against PSV in Eindhoven. The Gunners will be aiming to
get back to winning ways after only their second Premier League defeat of the
season against Aston Villa.
Mikel Arteta will return to the dugout after being in the
stands at Villa Park for picking up a third caution of the season against Luton
Town earlier in the week. However, he could be without two key players although
one possible injury return is on the cards.
Elsewhere, despite their defeat to Aston Villa and thus
Liverpool remaining top, Arsenal are still being backed by a supercomputer to
win the Premier League title race over Manchester City.
Here are your Arsenal morning headlines on Tuesday, December
12.
Triple injury update
Mikel Arteta has been given Arsenal injury updates on Bukayo
Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith Rowe following open training at London
Colney on Monday.
Smith Rowe has missed just over a month of action with a knee
injury but he was spotted back training with the squad ahead of the Champions
League clash against PSV. It is unclear whether or not he will travel as part
of the squad to the Netherlands.
While Smith Rowe was present, Saka nor Martinelli were seen
with the latter ill this morning and therefore unlikely to partake in
tomorrow's game. On Saka, he has a knock to his foot but is still expected to
feature in some capacity.
