Arsenal may be offered the chance to bring former Everton star Moise Kean back to the Premier League as part of a deal which could take Gunners starlet Charlie Patino to Serie A giants Juventus.

That is according to Michele Fratini, an agent and talent scout based over in Italy.

He told Rai Sport a couple of weeks ago that a who’s who of Serie A powerhouses were courting the Arsenal kid, including Napoli, AC Milan and Inter.

But Juventus, Fratini now claims, may have an ace up their sleeve as the Bianconeri look to fight off competition for a £25 million-rated playmaker earning rave reviews for his performances on loan at Swansea City.

ARSENAL COULD GET MOISE KEAN ON A SWAP DEAL

“The two names for Juventus’ midfield are Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City,

Who is a more physical player than Charlie Patino from Arsenal. He’s an Edgar Davids-type. He’s physical and good at (stopping) counter-attacks,” Fratini explains, likening the former Leeds ace to a Serie A icon.

“The other is Patino. Today, it’s a Juve team without quality. And they can easily sign Patino because Juventus has four attackers, and Kean would be included in the negotiation.”

How Arsenal feel about the prospect of bringing Moise Kean back to England for a second stab at the Premier League remains to be seen, of course. The Italy international scored only two top-flight goals after joining Everton in a £27 million deal back in 2019. Kean has not found the net even once during the current campaign, meanwhile.

The broad-shouldered centre-forward is still only 23 years of age, however. There is undoubtedly a player of serious potential in there somewhere. Kean once scored 17 goals during a terrific loan spell at perennial French champions Paris Saint-Germain after all.

As far as Arsenal icon Paul Merson is concerned, however, there is one striker signing which simply leaps off the page for a Gunners side looking to go from bridesmaids to brides this season.
