Drambi Vandi AYUBA,the police officer who allegedly killed Omobolanle Raheem on the 25th of December ,2022 has pleaded not guilty to the crime.
The defendant took the plea during his arraignment earlier today before Justice Ibironke Harrison at the Lagos State High Court Tafawa Balewa Square on a one count charge.
Amaka Owoh reports that the first prosecution witness, Inspector Mathew Ameh, has already testified before the court.
Meanwhile, the trial judge, Justice Ibironke appealed for an accelerated hearing of the case.
Service Of Songs For Slain Lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, Holds
A Service of Songs is being held for the slain lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, who was shot dead on Christmas Day, 2022 in Lagos.
The Service of Songs is holding at the Olive Tree Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God located on Banana Island, Lagos.
Meanwhile, the trial of the suspected killer, ASP Drambi Vandi, commenced on Monday at the Lagos State High Court sitting at the Tafawa Balewa Square.
