Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade, has supported rapper, Emeka Akumefule aka Blaqbonez, who accused some of their colleagues of use streamingfarms to inflate their streaming numbers.
Streaming farms are services that play music on existing
online platforms to massively inflate the number of times people have streamed
a song.
Blaqbonez had stated in a tweet that musicians who use
streaming farms will be exposed soon, saying, “All of you using streaming farms
would be exposed soon."
He also likened them to convicted fraudster, Ramon Abbas aka
Hushpuppi. "Awon hushpuppi," he added.
Alade, who responded to his tweet, “Never saw a 'realler'
tweet! Somebody please frame this tweet for me. I want to hang it on my
wall."
