The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, was on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 decorated as the best parastatal in service delivery in Nigeria in 2022 by Servicom. The Executive Chairman, Abdulrsheed Bawa was equally honoured as the 2nd best chief executive for commitment to improved services and customer-focused service delivery.
The honours were the highlight of this year’s recognition for ministries, departments and agencies, MDAs that distinguished themselves in terms of meeting performance expectations in the areas of efficient and effective service delivery.
The awards were presented to the Commission at a modest ceremony which was held at the FCDA Engineering Building, Garki, Abuja. Speaking at the event, the National Coordinator Servicom, Nnenna Akajemeji extolled the reforms initiated in the EFCC by the Abdulrasheed Baw-led administration that transformed the Agency in terms of commitment to provision of prompt and efficient service to its publics.
It will be recalled that upon his appointment as EFCC chairman nearly two years ago, Bawa commenced the reform of the Commission’s processes and procedures culminating in the adoption of new Standard Operating Procedures for all Departments and Units and various policy documents to regulate the conduct of personnel. This is in addition to several staff- focused policies and programmes that have improved the motivation of staff for improved performance.
