Team Lead, Merchant Acquiring Sales at Interswitch

The individual will drive market share by creating, executing, and delivering leads to grow the sales pipeline for our Paymate business and provide excellent account management for existing customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop leads into prospects by understanding their challenges/needs and effectively communicating our values and solutions
  • Qualify and identify prospect needs by leveraging key contacts within an organization
  • Identify high potential prospects and transition the qualified leads to the team lead for proper engagement
  • Effectively utilize the lead qualification process as well as documenting sales information in CRM following the lead process
  • Outbound prospecting and lead nurturing to the assigned market segment
  • Account management and customer retention activities
  • Other duties that may be assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum professional experience of 5 years in sales and account management role
  • Banking experience will be an added advantage
  • Experience in lead qualification, outbound prospecting, and lead development management
  • Experience with CRM tools
